The Women’s Ranch Bronc Championships was founded in 2016 and has continues to grow throughout the years as these cowgirls take the stage at some of the largest rodeos in the world including the Calgary Stampede, Days of 76 and Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Reigning World Champion Allysa Spiering is no stranger to roughstock events as she rode bulls for eight years before discovering her passion for saddle bronc riding.
“One thing kind of lead to another one day, I was on a horse that was bucking around and of course all the boys that I work with were whooping and hollering...I finally agreed to go to a practice pen with them and I never stopped.”
From training colts to riding broncs Spierings has an ample amount of experience with these animal athletes and her consistency in the pen paid off as she cinched the WRBC World Title at the 2022 Cheyenne Frontier Days.
