NRHYA Historian Aubree Leyva took home the Championship Title across all levels in the Non-Pro Derby at the Mother’s Day Slide in Scottsdale, Arizona!
Leyva has competed in the sport of reining for 8 years and is now accompanied by her derby horse Black Outt. Leyva has owned Black Outt for just four moths and the duo is going strong as they prepare for the NRHA Derby is June.
Since the eighth grade, Leyva has been attending camps at Texas A&M University in hopes of one day competing as an Aggie and her dreams have come true as she has signed to ride for Texas A&M’s Division 1 Equestrian Team.
